NEWSFLASH   Updating entries: print deadline has passed

Many thanks to all those who sent us updates this year. All updates received on or before 28 May will be included in the print edition. We will do our very best to include any information received later than this, but must give priority to updates received within the deadline. If you haven't sent an update yet but would still like to, please contact the editor. All information received will be published online at the earliest possible opportunity. Inclusion in The Europa World of Learning is free of charge and there is no obligation to buy the book or subscribe to the online site.

The summer update is now live. Updates and new entries have been added for the following chapters: Åland Islands, Aruba, Bermuda, Bulgaria, Faroe Islands, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guam, Guernsey, Hong Kong, India, Isle of Man, Japan, Jersey, Macao, Martinique, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, UK, USA and the United States Virgin Islands.

Subscribers may download introductory essays. The five essays featured in the latest print edition of The Europa World of Learning are available alongside all 13 essays from the previous three editions of the book.

The print edition of this internationally respected title was first published over 60 years ago and has become widely acclaimed as the premier source of information on the academic sphere world-wide.

The online version of The Europa World of Learning builds on this success by providing a full range of sophisticated search and browse functions, and regular updates of content. The result is a site that offers an unprecedented level of access to global institutions of higher education and learning, and to the people who work within them.
